Job Overview

A well-established contracting company in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Purchase Engineer specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines. Candidates must have 5 to 7 years of proven experience in procurement related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing materials and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills and supplier management capabilities, who can efficiently manage purchase orders and material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment, materials, and spare parts maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
• Handle supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Generate and process purchase orders ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
• Utilize ERP systems and MS Office tools for procurement tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to align procurement activities with project schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of procurement experience in the MEP sector.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software systems.
• Good command of English communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be based in Bahrain and available to join immediately.
