Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement & Product Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in sourcing and purchasing products for supermarkets or mini markets, with a special focus on organic and natural brands.

Main Responsibilities:

– Search for and introduce new organic and natural brands in:
– Food products
– Makeup & cosmetics
– Body care & persoal care products
– Build relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers
– Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value and lower costs
– Handle supplier communication, follow-ups, and order management
– Plan and schedule purchasing to ensure stock availability before products run out
– Manage import requirements, licenses, approvals, and product certifications
– Ensure all imported products comply with local regulations and standards
– Develop and launch private label products under our own brand name across multiple categories
– Research market trends and identify high-potential products for retail sales
– Coordinate with management regarding product selection, pricing, and inventory planning

Requirements:

– Proven experience in procurement/purchasing within supermarkets, mini markets, or retail chains
– Strong knowledge of organic and natural product markets
– Experience dealing with international suppliers and import processes
– Knowledge of product certifications and regulatory requirements
– Strong negotiation and communication skills
– Ability to analyze costs and improve purchasing efficiency
– Experience in private label product development is highly preferred
– Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple suppliers and product categories

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience in food, beauty, or personal care industries
– Existing supplier and manufacturer network is a plus
– Ability to identify trending products and market opportunities
