Key Responsibilities

The Purchasing Officer will play a pivotal role in the sourcing and procurement activities of the supermarket. Responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end procurement cycles in line with supermarket needs.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Negotiating prices and delivery schedules to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
• Using Odoo software to track inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels.
• Collaborating with the store and warehouse teams to ensure timely restocking and prevent stockouts.

Required Skills and Experience

To succeed in this position, candidates must have:

• At least 5 years of purchasing experience within the supermarket or retail sector.
• Proficiency in Odoo procurement and inventory management software.
• Strong negotiation skills to manage supplier agreements effectively.
• The ability to work independently while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams.
