Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer to join a reputable company in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in insurance compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) guidelines and other relevant authorities. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience, preferably within the insurance sector, to effectively manage compliance and reporting duties.

Key Responsibilities

The Compliance Officer will play a vital role in developing and implementing compliance strategies, liaising between the insurer, clients, and the company. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance schedules aligned with CBB standards, conducting periodic reporting to the board and management, and ensuring ongoing employee training on compliance protocols. The officer will also manage client communications for compliance data collection, conduct background research on client companies, and review marketing materials for accuracy.

Additionally, the role involves supervising back-office staff to ensure day-to-day compliance tasks are completed, maintaining premium schedules by class and company for management oversight, and assisting with internal controls related to accounts receivable and collections to uphold insurer credit policies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, preferably within the insurance industry.

Eligibility and Additional Information

This opportunity is open exclusively to Bahraini nationals who are currently residing in Bahrain. The salary range offered for this position is BHD 1000 to BHD 1100.
