Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company located in Salmabad, Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various general maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations within the facility. This role requires practical experience in basic plumbing, electrical repairs, and machine troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out basic plumbing repairs and maintenance work around the facility
• Perform minor electrical fixes to resolve simple issues efficiently
• Troubleshoot and conduct basic maintenance on machinery
• Handle general upkeep and repair tasks independently, ensuring the facility remains fully operational

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physically fit with the ability to lift and handle maintenance equipment as needed
• Basic proficiency in English to communicate effectively on site
• Experience with basic electrical and plumbing work essential for the role
• Ability to work independently, particularly for small repair jobs and routine maintenance

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position follows a Saturday to Thursday workweek with regular hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime is compensated separately. The salary range is between BHD 150 and BHD 180, depending on experience and performance during the interview.
