Job Overview

We are currently seeking a diligent Maintenance Helper to join our team in Bahrain. This role supports the maintenance department by assisting with the upkeep and repair of restaurant facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Helper will play a vital role in maintaining various aspects of the restaurant environment, including:

• Assisting maintenance staff with repairs and general upkeep.
• Performing basic preventive maintenance tasks as directed.
• Supporting plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects under supervision.
• Troubleshooting minor equipment and facility issues promptly.
• Ensuring the maintenance workshop, tools, and storage areas are clean and well-organized.
• Helping with the installation, relocation, and assembly of equipment and furniture.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and food hygiene standards in all maintenance activities.
• Responding quickly to maintenance requests from restaurant branches.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and supplies as required.
• Reporting equipment defects or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor immediately.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess a basic understanding of maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential. Experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

This position involves supporting a busy maintenance team in a restaurant setting, which requires physical activity, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and assisting across multiple tasks.
