We are seeking a detail-oriented International Shipping and Logistics Officer to oversee the coordination of import and export shipments. This role requires managing shipping documentation, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of goods worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all facets of international logistics operations, including:

  • Coordinating import and export shipments across various transport modes
  • Preparing and verifying essential shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork
  • Communicating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transport providers to facilitate shipment processes
  • Tracking shipments and regularly updating management and customers on their status
  • Ensuring full compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations
  • Arranging customs clearance and addressing any shipment-related challenges
  • Monitoring shipping schedules to meet delivery timelines efficiently
  • Negotiating competitive freight rates and shipping costs with logistics service partners
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate shipping records and documentation
  • Coordinating with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Preparing logistics reports, shipment status updates, and cost analysis reports
  • Handling insurance claims and resolving issues related to damaged or delayed shipments
  • Upholding company policies alongside international shipping standards
