Job Overview

ALSAMAR Manpower is seeking a dedicated Family Driver and Elderly Care Assistant for a position in Bahrain. This role involves providing compassionate care and support to an elderly gentleman while also fulfilling driving responsibilities for family outings and appointments. The ideal candidate will be an Indian male with relevant experience in elderly care and a valid GCC driving licence or the ability to obtain a Bahrain licence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the elderly gentleman with daily mobility, including helping him move safely between bed, chair, wheelchair, and car. Personal hygiene support such as dressing and occasional cleansing will be part of the role. Maintaining the cleanliness of the gentleman’s bedroom and his clothing is also required. In addition to caregiving duties, the assistant will drive family members and children when needed and accompany the elderly gentleman to various appointments, offering companionship and supervision throughout the day.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Indian nationality currently residing in India
• Experience caring for elderly individuals, preferably within India or GCC countries
• Valid GCC driving licence and eligibility to obtain a Bahrain driving licence
• Physically fit to assist with mobility challenges
• Kind, patient, compassionate, and responsible nature
• Ability to provide respectful and understanding care for elderly persons
• Prior experience working with families is advantageous

Benefits
