Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Technician to join our hotel maintenance team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and building systems operate smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the overall condition of the hotel’s physical environment.

Key Responsibilities

The General Technician will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, including upkeep of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. This role also involves general hotel maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other repairs as needed. The technician will closely monitor the condition of facilities and equipment, advising supervisors on necessary maintenance, repairs, or refurbishments. Additionally, the technician must strictly adhere to hotel policies related to fire, safety, and health to ensure a safe environment at all times.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience within the hotel industry is essential.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and repairs involving mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Hands-on experience in general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance needs proactively.
• Awareness and compliance with safety and health regulations to safeguard work areas.

Additional Information

The position may require occasional tasks beyond regular maintenance duties as directed by management to meet operational needs. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with the maintenance team.
