Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced female caregiver to provide dedicated home support for a 90-year-old woman residing in Riffa. The patient is in the recovery phase following hip replacement surgery and requires attentive assistance to enhance mobility and ensure daily comfort. Candidates must currently be located in Bahrain to be eligible for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The caregiver will play a crucial role in helping the patient regain mobility and manage her recovery with care and patience. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with walking and movement to promote safety and prevent falls, with attention to hip and spinal recovery needs.
• Supporting and encouraging low-impact exercises prescribed by the patient’s healthcare professionals to promote rehabilitation.
• Providing light massages and comfort techniques to alleviate stiffness and manage discomfort.
• Monitoring the patient’s overall well-being while offering companionship and emotional support during visits.

Required Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates should have prior experience in geriatric care and post-surgical support, demonstrating both empathy and patience. A gentle approach to help manage the patient’s mobility and comfort will be essential. Being familiar with the needs of elderly patients recovering from orthopedic surgery is highly beneficial.
