Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Denting, Painting, and Polishing Technician from India to join a reputable company in Bahrain. This role involves restoring the exterior bodies of vehicles, ensuring they look flawless by repairing dents, applying high-quality paint finishes, and polishing to a smooth shine. The ideal candidate will have relevant hands-on experience and the technical expertise required to deliver exceptional automobile bodywork and refinishing services.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will undertake a number of vital tasks including:

• Inspecting vehicles to evaluate surface damage and determining necessary repairs.
• Removing damaged parts and panels to carry out dent repairs and panel straightening.
• Using tools like hammers, heat guns, and fillers to repair dents and shape plastic components.
• Preparing vehicle surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking prior to painting.
• Mixing and matching paints accurately using computerized systems to blend with existing colors.
• Applying primer, base coats, and clear coats in spray booths to achieve a durable finish.
• Polishing and buffing painted surfaces to eliminate imperfections and provide a glossy finish.
• Applying waxes and protective coatings to maintain paint protection and restoration.
• Maintaining workshop tools and equipment with proper cleanliness and safety measures.
• Adhering to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment such as respirators.
• Preparing repair cost estimates and managing material requirements for each job.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient use of spray guns, sanders, grinders, welding equipment, and polishing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure color matching and seamless finishing.
• Physical stamina for extended standing and work in varied postures.
• Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in automotive bodywork and painting.
• Strong understanding of automotive paint systems and chemical safety handling.
• Knowledge of Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) techniques is an advantage.

Compensation and Work Conditions

This role offers a monthly salary of BHD 100.000 with a typical 10-hour workday plus overtime. Employees will receive one day off per week. The company provides visa sponsorship, food, and accommodation benefits.
