Job Overview

Misbah Metal & Wood Co. WLL is urgently seeking a skilled Estimator to join our fabrication and engineering team based in Salmabad, Bahrain. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic company specializing in steel and aluminum fabrication, CNC cutting and laser works, glass and ACP installations, metal and interior fit-out projects, as well as signage and architectural works.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates and quotations by thoroughly reviewing project drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and specifications. The role involves detailed material take-offs, quantity calculations, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure accurate pricing. Additionally, the Estimator will prepare tender submissions, manage client quotations, and follow up on inquiries and project costing. Close collaboration with production and project teams is essential to ensure alignment and project success.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of proven experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, preferably in fabrication, steel, aluminum, glass, or interior fit-out works.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and BOQ.
• Knowledge of current material costs and market pricing trends.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimation software tools to support accurate costing.
• Prior experience working in Bahrain or familiarity with the local market is advantageous.
• Readiness for immediate joining is preferred.
