Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join an esteemed academic institution in Bahrain. This full-time role involves teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, engaging in clinical research, and providing specialized clinical services and training to residents in key areas including feto-maternal medicine, gynecological oncology, and reproductive medicine.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and mentorship to medical students and residents.
- Leading and participating in innovative clinical research programs within the specialty.
- Providing expert clinical care and training in subspecialties such as feto-maternal medicine, gynecological oncology, and reproductive medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a recognized postgraduate qualification such as MRCOG, European Board certification, or an American/Canadian Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Possesses a doctorate degree (MD or PhD) in a relevant field.
- Completed accredited subspecialty training pertinent to the field.
- Meets the academic rank eligibility criteria as defined by the hiring campus.
