Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with a minimum of five years’ experience to design, build, and maintain robust enterprise-level applications. This role involves working in a mission-critical setting, developing solutions primarily focused on real-time and high-availability systems such as tolling or transportation platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the latest .NET technologies and database optimization.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications using .NET 6 and .NET 8 frameworks, including Blazor and ASP.NET Core. They will also work on optimizing SQL Server 2019 databases by writing complex queries, stored procedures, and tuning performance for maximum efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting and enhancing transaction-based systems, coordinating with architects and project managers, debugging and troubleshooting applications, and ensuring coding complies with security and quality standards. Additionally, the developer will participate in system integration, deployment, and release management, supporting applications hosted on Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11 Pro environments. Documentation and knowledge sharing within the team will also be part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• At least five years of hands-on experience with enterprise software development
• Strong proficiency in .NET 6, .NET 8, Blazor, and ASP.NET Core
• Advanced skills in SQL Server 2019, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Experience with Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11 Pro operating systems
• Proven background in supporting and building high-availability, real-time systems such as tolling or transactional platforms

Technical Expertise

• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and architectural patterns
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficient in database design, indexing strategies, and query optimization
• Capable of monitoring and improving application performance
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and real-time transaction processing
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline management and automated testing
• Understanding of security best practices in enterprise-level applications
