Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and help maintain the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone currently living in Bahrain, ready to start immediately, and eager to provide excellent technical support across hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Specialist will deliver hands-on technical support to employees by resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computers, printers, and other IT equipment, as well as troubleshooting issues swiftly to minimize downtime. The role also involves managing user accounts and access permissions, supporting operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, and ensuring the smooth function of workplace applications including Microsoft Office. Regular system updates, backups, and overall network monitoring will be expected to maintain robust IT security and connectivity. Thorough documentation of issues and solutions is essential, along with contributing to the rollout of new technologies and IT solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Between two to four years of experience in IT or technical support roles is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of hardware components, network infrastructure, and operating systems. Practical experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices is necessary, alongside a solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks and fundamental cybersecurity principles. Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills are crucial to succeed in this role. Current residency in Bahrain and immediate availability to join are key requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience with IT helpdesk software and ticketing systems will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with network configuration and troubleshooting, as well as basic skills in server management and cloud services, will strengthen a candidate’s profile.
