Job Overview

We are seeking a talented IT Hardware Technician specialized in motherboard chip-level repair to join our technical team in Bahrain. This role involves intricate hardware repair work focused on the detailed replacement and diagnostics of microchips and integrated circuits directly on circuit boards, rather than replacing entire motherboards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced micro soldering techniques and equipment such as BGA rework stations.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will handle a variety of hardware maintenance tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals. Responsibilities include responding to IT support requests, resolving hardware and software issues, conducting hardware diagnostics, and replacing faulty components. The role also includes basic network cable installation, providing technical assistance to users, maintaining hardware inventory, and supporting server maintenance operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a suitable qualification in IT, Computer Hardware, or a related field alongside proven experience in hardware repair and maintenance. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to diagnose hardware faults effectively, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Good communication skills are important for interacting with users and colleagues.
