Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Installation and IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. This role is essential for maintaining efficient IT operations and supporting both hardware and software systems, with a focus on CCTV infrastructure. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of technical issues, provide timely assistance to users, and help ensure the reliability of our technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be expected to:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network configurations following established procedures.
• Offer first-line support for user account management, connectivity problems, software installs, and peripheral device setup.
• Respond promptly and professionally to technical inquiries via phone, email, or chat platforms.
• Gather detailed information from users to effectively diagnose and address root causes of problems.
• Keep comprehensive records of support tickets and their solutions to maintain a clear support history.
• Escalate advanced technical challenges to specialized teams, such as System Engineers, when necessary.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in software, hardware, and security camera technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems along with a solid foundation in computer hardware and software.
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting expertise.
• Clear communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to users with varying levels of IT experience.
• A customer-oriented approach focused on delivering excellent service and support.
• Well-versed in multiple operating systems and common productivity software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience working with Genetec, Milestone, or comparable CCTV platforms.
• Professional certifications such as A+ or other relevant technical accreditations.
• Prior exposure to high-paced IT support environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication capabilities.
