Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience providing high-quality support for banking and enterprise applications. This role involves troubleshooting complex application issues, supporting a range of operating systems, and working closely with end-users to ensure smooth system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving application problems reported by users, offering both hardware and software support, and managing incidents and problems efficiently. You will play a vital role in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables. Supporting self-service kiosks, performing quality assurance testing, and maintaining remote desktop support tools are also key aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving application issues across Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
• Strong understanding of banking application support.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of remote desktop support tools.
• Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
• Basic knowledge of .NET framework and quality assurance testing methods.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Banking industry experience is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or Linux are a significant plus and will strengthen your application.

Benefits
