Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HR and Payroll Executive to join our team in Bahrain. This role requires a candidate with hands-on experience in managing full-cycle payroll, HR operations, and a solid understanding of Bahrain Labour Law. Effective communication and a professional approach to employee management are essential.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and in compliance with Bahrain’s legal standards. Duties include managing all HR operations such as onboarding new hires, offboarding departing employees, tracking attendance, handling leave requests, and maintaining employee records. You will ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements including Bahrain Labour Law, Ministry of Labour mandates, LMRA, SIO, and GOSI obligations.
Additionally, the role involves preparing essential HR documents like contracts, offer letters, warning notices, and termination letters, coordinating with government agencies for visa and renewal processes, and addressing employee queries related to payroll, leave, and HR policies. Supporting performance management and fostering employee engagement initiatives are also key parts of the position. Maintaining confidentiality and accurate record-keeping is crucial.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate must have proven experience in a similar HR and payroll role, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years working in Bahrain. A thorough understanding of Bahrain Labour Law and HR compliance requirements is mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in payroll processing and be comfortable working with HR and payroll software as well as Microsoft Office tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are vital to managing employee relations effectively. The candidate should be capable of working independently, managing pressure, and organizing multiple priorities efficiently. Immediate availability will be considered an advantage.
