Job Overview

A well-established company based in the Kingdom of Bahrain is looking to hire a skilled HR Executive. This role is ideal for candidates with solid experience in Bahrain’s HR policies and government-related regulations. The HR Executive will support the human resources department with various essential functions, ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities, including coordination of new employee onboarding and ensuring all documentation and orientation are handled efficiently. Preparing and updating job descriptions to reflect current organizational needs is essential. Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, such as personal details, employment history, and performance appraisals, will be part of the role.

The role requires management of HR databases to guarantee data integrity and confidentiality. Handling employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, is critical. Managing visa applications and payments, along with timely registration and deregistration of employees with the Social Insurance Organization and the Labor Market Authority, will be a primary duty.

Additionally, the HR Executive will deal with the Ministry of Labour regarding correspondence and documentation related to visas, residence permits, and CPR cards. They will assist in payroll processing by ensuring accurate timesheet submissions and manage employee benefits such as health insurance and leave records. Acting as a key contact for employee inquiries and helping resolve workplace issues, escalating complex matters to the HR Manager, is also expected. Providing comprehensive administrative support within the HR department to facilitate smooth operations completes the scope of responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in human resources or government relations within Bahrain is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in English, alongside good computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to handle employee relations professionally.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality at all times.
