Job Overview
We are looking for a diligent and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily HR functions and ensuring compliance with Bahrain labour laws. This position involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and maintaining accurate HR documentation to facilitate smooth human resources operations.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator will assist with the end-to-end recruitment process by creating job postings, advertising roles on platforms like Indeed, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and organizing assessments. They will also prepare offer letters and employment contracts, guiding candidates through the hiring steps.
Additionally, this role involves conducting thorough employee onboarding and induction, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and entered into the HR information system accurately.
Maintaining precise employee records both in digital HRIS and physical files is critical. The Coordinator will help uphold HR policies and ensure all processes comply with Bahrain Labour Law. Handling work permits, visas, and liaising with relevant government bodies will also be part of the job.
Supporting employees’ HR-related queries and assisting with general HR duties is essential. The role includes preparing recruitment and attendance reports, tracking leave, and contributing to performance management and training initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. They must possess between one to three years of experience specifically in HR administrative tasks, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining HR documentation.
A solid understanding of Bahrain Labour Law and associated compliance, as well as familiarity with government processes such as LMRA and work permits, is necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, with Arabic proficiency considered an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational abilities, maintain confidentiality, and have the capacity to solve problems efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes
Immediate availability and residence within Bahrain are highly preferred to facilitate quick onboarding. Managing multiple HR-related responsibilities with prioritization skills is important. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering strictly to HR compliance is expected.
