Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our recruitment team. This role is designed for candidates with hands-on experience in recruitment processes and a solid understanding of Bahrain Labour Law. The successful candidate will provide essential support to HR functions while ensuring smooth coordination throughout the hiring lifecycle. Immediate availability is a key requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Assistant focused on recruitment, your main duties will include managing end-to-end recruitment activities such as posting job vacancies, screening candidates, and organizing interviews. You will be responsible for preparing offer letters and contracts in line with Bahraini legal standards, and maintaining accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Additionally, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and candidates to facilitate communication and seamless onboarding.
Additional tasks include supporting the creation of recruitment reports, assisting with talent pipeline management, and contributing to employer branding efforts. Participation in recruitment events and job fairs will also be part of your role to help attract top talent.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Prior experience of 1-2 years in recruitment or HR assistance is preferred, along with familiarization with Bahrain Labour Law and work permit procedures. Practical knowledge of job posting platforms such as Indeed is important for effectively advertising current vacancies.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Attention to confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information are also necessary for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems will be considered an advantage. An eye for detail and the capacity to maintain accurate candidate records play a significant role in supporting the recruitment team efficiently.
