Job Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable HR Advisor currently based in Bahrain, ready to join immediately. This role focuses on delivering expert HR support and advice to both management and employees, ensuring adherence to Bahrain Labor Law and local human resources regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Advisor will provide daily HR guidance, assist with employee relations, and manage disciplinary and grievance procedures. Responsibilities also include interpreting labor laws, advising on employee contracts, terminations, notice periods, and end-of-service benefits. Coordination with government agencies such as LMRA, SIO, and MOL is essential to ensure legal compliance. The role supports recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and maintains accurate HR records and reports. Additionally, the advisor will contribute to performance management initiatives and help prepare for HR audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a comparable HR role within Bahrain, with a solid understanding of Bahrain’s labor laws and HR operational procedures. Prior experience interacting with agencies like LMRA, SIO, and MOL is important. Strong communication and advisory skills, high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to independently manage multiple HR matters are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Holding HR certifications and experience working across diverse industries would be advantageous.
