Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator specializing in structural steel to join our engineering team on a renewable two-year contract. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in cost estimation within the structural steel industry and hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. A driving license is preferable but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for structural steel projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related documents to assess materials and labor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain records of estimates and assist with budget planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in structural steel estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to produce precise quotes.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
