Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on responding to sales inquiries, understanding technical requirements, and providing tailored product recommendations to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Handling inbound sales inquiries and qualifying potential leads effectively
- Understanding customer business objectives and technical needs to recommend suitable products or solutions
- Preparing accurate quotes, proposals, and technical documents tailored to client requirements
- Conducting remote demonstrations and presentations of products and systems
- Collaborating closely with field sales representatives to successfully close sales opportunities
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and monitoring sales pipeline progress
- Coordinating with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Providing pre-sales technical support and assisting with limited post-sales follow-up
- Achieving or surpassing assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in technical or inside sales, or application engineering roles
- Comprehensive understanding of technical products and systems relevant to sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficient with CRM software tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities
