Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to join a reputable company in Bahrain. This role demands a mechanical engineering degree and 5 to 8 years of experience managing HVAC projects from design to completion. The position offers competitive, negotiable salary and requires dedication for an 8-hour workday across 26 working days each month.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HVAC design process from the initial concept through to project handover. This includes developing detailed HVAC layouts, accurately sizing equipment, selecting appropriate HVAC components, and preparing comprehensive specifications and scopes of work. A strong understanding of chilled water and direct expansion (DX) systems is essential.

Collaboration plays a major role in this position; you will need to coordinate with various disciplines, including project management teams, system owners, suppliers, and contractors. Ensuring strict adherence to site safety standards and effectively managing coordination tasks between the main contractor and subcontractors on site are also vital components of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC project engineering.
• Proven expertise in HVAC system design, equipment sizing, and specification preparation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chilled water and DX systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with site safety protocols and construction standards.

Work Schedule

The position requires working 8 hours daily for 26 days each month, ensuring project timelines and site activities stay on track.
