Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in food service equipment installation and maintenance to join our Bahrain-based team. This role involves leading comprehensive project management efforts to ensure successful execution from design to handover.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle for food service equipment, including:

• Leading project execution and managing timelines to meet deadlines effectively.
• Preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for equipment.
• Collaborating closely with consultants, architects, and clients to finalize design specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to guarantee prompt delivery and proper installation of equipment.
• Monitoring project budgets and resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
• Ensuring projects comply with local health, fire, and safety regulations.
• Performing site inspections and managing snag lists as well as handover documentation.
• Providing technical assistance during tendering and procurement stages.
• Mentoring junior engineers and providing support to bolster team performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with food service or kitchen equipment projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing and design.
• Strong capabilities in project management and on-site supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working within the GCC region exclusively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with global kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, Electrolux, or similar.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentials considered an asset.
• Background in hospitality, food and beverage chains, hospitals, or central kitchen projects is advantageous.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive monthly salary of 1000 BHD.
