We are partnering with a leading Oil & Gas operator in Bahrain to fill several key positions within the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up (PCC & SU) team. This opportunity targets professionals with strong experience in compressor stations and Oil & Gas project execution. Immediate availability is highly valued for these project-based roles located in Bahrain.

Available Positions and Requirements

We are currently recruiting for multiple roles to support PCC & Start-Up activities across several disciplines:

  • PCC & Start-Up Manager: Requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and 15–25 years of Oil & Gas project experience, preferably with overseas exposure, with Bahrain experience considered an advantage.
  • Piping Supervisor / Engineer: Diploma holders should have 10–15 years of experience; degree holders 8–10 years, with mandatory Oil & Gas background and preferably overseas assignments.
  • Mechanical Supervisor: A strong mechanical Oil & Gas background is essential; 10–15 years for diploma holders and 8–10 years for degree holders, with preference for overseas experience.
  • Electrical Engineer: Candidates should have a diploma (10–15 years) or degree (8–15 years) in electrical field, with solid Oil & Gas exposure and overseas experience preferred.
  • Instrumentation Engineer: Diploma or degree holders with 10–15 years Oil & Gas experience, familiar with instrumentation systems and vendor interactions, ideally with international experience.
  • Process Engineer / DCS Supervisor: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering with 10–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience and overseas project background.

Key Responsibilities

Each role involves vital PCC & Start-Up operations, including but not limited to:

  • Leading and coordinating pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up tasks across systems and equipment.
  • Developing and implementing procedural documentation and ensuring client coordination.
  • Conducting inspections, testing, and performance verification of critical equipment such as compressors, motors, MCC, and control systems.
  • Managing safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and hands-on involvement in troubleshooting and field activities.
  • Completing final documentation, punch list closure, and formal handover to operations teams.

Technical Expertise

Candidates with familiarity in the following areas will have a distinct advantage:

  • Standards such as ASME B31.3, API, IEC, IEEE.
  • Knowledge of P&IDs, isometrics, and compressor station operations.
  • Experience with rotating and static equipment, relay testing, UPS and battery systems, HVAC and electrical switchgear.
  • Instrumentation and control systems including DCS, ESD, FGS, PLC, and Fire & Gas detection.
  • Operators of well-known DCS platforms like Yokogawa, Honeywell, Emerson, or Siemens.

Contract Details and Location

This is a project-based contract located in Bahrain. The positions require candidates who are available to join immediately or on short notice.
