Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Workshop Supervisor to oversee operations in a heavy truck workshop. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of workmanship within the mechanical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the mechanical team responsible for servicing and repairing heavy trucks.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage workshop schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee the proper use and upkeep of tools and equipment in the workshop.
• Address technical issues and provide guidance to technicians as needed.
• Maintain records related to repairs, maintenance, and workshop operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising mechanical workshops, specifically dealing with heavy trucks.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and workshop procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
