Job Overview

Our reputable MEP contracting company based in Manama, Bahrain, is looking to hire a full-time Female Electrical Quantity Surveyor. This role is ideal for both fresh graduates with a strong academic background and professionals with a few years of relevant experience. The position demands a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle cost management and project financials related to electrical engineering projects. Immediate joiners residing locally in Bahrain are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing multiple financial and administrative tasks within project management, including:

• Preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documentation, and precise material take-offs
• Managing contractor payment applications, evaluating contract variations, and handling final account settlements
• Supporting procurement activities by assisting in sourcing and evaluating subcontractors
• Measuring project work progress, monitoring expenditures against budget, and contributing to monthly cost reporting to ensure project profitability

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within the GCC or Bahrain construction market
• Current residence in Bahrain with availability for immediate employment
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD software
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
