Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in construction projects based in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and be proficient in industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely delivery and effective resource management within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, as well as monitoring progress to identify any schedule deviations. Coordination with various project teams will be essential to gather accurate progress updates. The role includes preparing weekly and monthly progress reports, developing recovery schedules and mitigation plans when delays occur, and managing manpower, equipment, and resource allocation. Maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding project timelines and progress is also a critical part of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working on construction projects in Bahrain
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software
• Experience preparing and updating project schedules, manpower histograms, and progress reports
• Understanding of Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical construction activities
• Proven ability to develop baseline schedules, recovery plans, and conduct delay analysis
• Strong project monitoring, planning, and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who are currently located in Bahrain and have direct experience working on construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects will be preferred. Familiarity with local project environments and stakeholders will be an added advantage.
