Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in plumbing systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have over 10 years of experience supervising plumbing installations, particularly in residential projects. This role requires someone capable of independently managing the plumbing department and ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all plumbing-related activities including preparation of drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and managing quotations, quantity surveying, and invoicing. The role also involves direct interaction with clients to understand their requirements and plan effectively, as well as handling project handovers to ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supervising plumbing works, especially within residential projects
• Ability to handle department independently and lead teams
• Strong skills in preparing technical drawings and project documentation
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Valid Bahrain driving license is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in Bahrain
• Holding a valid EWA/CRPEP license is highly preferred

Additional Information

Applicants must be below 40 years of age and hold a bachelor’s status. Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant licensing and local Bahrain experience.
