A well-established company in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong engineering background. This role requires a proactive individual with at least four years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical system maintenance, skilled in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance planning. Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on various machinery and equipment. This includes regular inspections to detect faults or wear, diagnosing issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems, and performing timely repairs to reduce downtime.

Additional duties include installing and testing new equipment or replacement parts, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and coordinating maintenance schedules with production teams. The role also involves monitoring equipment performance to suggest efficiency improvements, managing spare parts inventory, ensuring a safe and organized work environment, and supporting equipment commissioning and major overhauls.

Technicians will be expected to assist junior staff with basic maintenance tasks and actively participate in emergency repairs and continuous improvement programs aimed at lowering maintenance costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A graduate degree in an engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience within a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic instruments.
• Good understanding of safety standards and company procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations and production teams.
