Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator with a minimum of three years’ experience in the signage, manufacturing, or fabrication industries. This role involves assessing daily project inquiries and providing accurate cost calculations to support our sales and project engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering and a keen eye for detail when interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

The Cost Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project requirements and compiling detailed cost estimates. This includes analyzing blueprints, calculating the expenses related to materials, labor, equipment hire, and other project needs. You will collaborate closely with various departments, engineers, and project managers to resolve any issues and ensure that costing schedules align with project timelines. Preparing and submitting competitive bids for signage or display contracts is also a critical part of this role.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of three years of experience in a relevant industry such as signage, manufacturing, or fabrication is required to succeed in this role. Experience with project planning and estimating costs to meet client specifications is highly valued.

Work Environment and Employment Details

This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site. The role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day project costing processes within a dynamic work environment.
