Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Estimator specialized in joinery and fit-out projects to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost, time, and materials estimates to support project planning and execution. If you have a strong background in joinery, fit-outs, and furniture manufacturing with excellent analytical skills, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project documentation such as shop drawings and blueprints to develop detailed estimates. This includes calculating labor, material, and equipment costs while monitoring these factors throughout project development to ensure accuracy.

• Analyze shop drawings and related documents to prepare comprehensive cost and materials estimates.
• Assess cost efficiency of products and projects, comparing actual expenses with original bids.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates to assist management with project planning, scheduling, and vendor selection.
• Conduct site visits for measurements and to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
• Recommend strategies to improve product cost-effectiveness and overall profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as an Estimator in the joinery and fit-out industry.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Joinery, or related fields.
• Proven experience within joinery, fit-outs, and furniture manufacturing sectors.
• Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent mathematical and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Comfortable with travel to project sites for measurements and data collection.
