Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Estimator and Designer specialized in Food Service Equipment to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on planning, estimating, and designing commercial kitchen projects to meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project quotations for commercial kitchen fittings.
• Develop detailed commercial kitchen layouts using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to obtain pricing, ensure equipment selection aligns with project needs, and confirm technical compliance.
• Create equipment schedules, shop drawings, and technical submittals to support project planning.
• Conduct regular site visits and work in coordination with project management, sales, and installation teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, safety requirements, and client expectations.
• Provide design updates and technical clarifications during project execution to support smooth delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen or food service equipment projects.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and layout planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experienced in preparing BOQs, cost estimation, and handling tender documentation.
• Familiarity with major food service equipment brands such as Rational, Hobart, Electrolux, Hoshizaki, and Convotherm is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working in the GCC region is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
