Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Site Engineer with specialized experience in UPS installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working on electrical and MEP projects. This role demands strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage site activities efficiently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Site Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of UPS systems. Additionally, the role involves working with ELV systems such as Lighting Control, KNX, Central Battery Systems, Emergency Lighting, Busbar Trunking Systems, and Capacitor Banks. The engineer will ensure that electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and technical specifications are properly understood and followed on site. Coordination with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site staff to guarantee smooth project execution is crucial. The candidate will also prepare comprehensive commissioning reports, inspection requests, and manage all necessary project documentation.

Required Skills

• Proficient in UPS system installation, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with ELV systems including lighting control and building automation technologies
• Technical knowledge of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, and BMS systems
• Ability to interpret and work from electrical drawings and technical specifications
• Strong communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork
• Competency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings and MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the GCC region is highly regarded. Possession of a valid driving license will also be considered an advantage, enhancing mobility across project sites.
