Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Installation and IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. This role involves managing IT operations while providing first-rate support for both hardware and software systems. The successful candidate will handle technical troubleshooting, maintain CCTV systems, and offer direct assistance to users to ensure uninterrupted technology performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a CCTV and IT Support Engineer, your primary duties will include:

• Diagnosing and resolving a wide array of software, hardware, and network issues following established troubleshooting protocols.
• Delivering first-level user support encompassing account management, network connectivity, software deployment, and peripheral device troubleshooting.
• Providing timely and professional assistance through multiple communication channels including phone, email, and chat.
• Gathering comprehensive information from users to correctly identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Documenting all support requests and resolutions accurately for future reference.
• Escalating complex technical problems to specialized internal teams such as System Engineers when needed.
• Keeping up to date with the newest software, hardware, and surveillance system advancements to enhance support quality.

Required Skills

• At least three years of experience in technical support or an IT helpdesk environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge of CCTV technology, alongside computer hardware and software systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and effective communication abilities to explain technical details to users with varying levels of expertise.
• A customer-focused approach ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Competency in multiple operating systems and common productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience working with CCTV platforms such as Genetec, Milestone, or other similar systems.
• Relevant technical certifications like A+ or equivalent credentials.
• Previous work experience within a fast-paced IT support setting.
• Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
