Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cafe Cashier from India to join a vibrant team in Bahrain. This role involves managing customer transactions, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining a neat, inviting café environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable operating POS systems, handling cash and card payments, and assisting with day-to-day café operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers with a friendly attitude, accurately taking orders, and offering menu suggestions. You will handle payments through cash and cards, issue receipts, and ensure the cash drawer is balanced. Additional duties include opening and closing the register, restocking inventory, and keeping the counters and dining area clean and organized. Support with food and drink preparation, as well as serving customers at their tables, may also be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in cashier roles or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must have proficiency in POS systems and be comfortable using basic computer applications. Strong communication abilities, multitasking skills, and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential for success. Physical stamina is necessary due to prolonged periods of standing and occasional lifting or bending. Accuracy in handling cash and conducting basic arithmetic calculations is also critical.

Working Hours and Compensation

The position requires a 9-hour workday with overtime opportunities. Employees will have one weekly day off. The offered salary is BHD 150.000. Additional benefits include company-provided visa, accommodation, and transportation to support your stay and work in Bahrain.
