We are seeking a skilled and diligent Cafe Cashier from India to join a vibrant team in Bahrain. This role is perfect for candidates with experience in customer service and cash handling within busy café environments. The ideal candidate will manage customer transactions accurately, assist with food and beverage service, and maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

The cafe cashier will be responsible for greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and processing payments using the POS system. Duties include handling cash and card transactions with precision, issuing receipts, and providing change. Additionally, the role involves balancing the cash drawer, opening and closing the register, and supporting inventory restocking efforts.

Maintaining cleanliness at the counter, dining area, and workstations is essential to create a pleasant environment. The candidate will also assist with simple food preparation tasks, help serve drinks, and deliver food to tables, ensuring a smooth and friendly customer experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should ideally have previous experience as a cashier or in customer service, although this is not strictly mandatory. Proficiency with POS terminals and general computer skills are necessary to handle daily transactions accurately.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective interaction with customers and team members. Candidates should be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting and have reliable basic math abilities for cash management. Physical stamina to stand during shifts and perform light lifting or bending activities is also required.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position involves working nine hours per day with possible overtime. Employees will have one day off per week. The monthly salary for this role is BHD 150, supported with company-provided visa, accommodation, and transportation, making it an attractive opportunity for candidates relocating to Bahrain.
