A well-established fit-out and construction company in Bahrain is urgently looking to expand its team by hiring skilled professionals with strong industry experience. The ideal candidates will be capable of managing responsibilities independently and contributing to the company’s growth through their expertise in joinery, production, and interior fit-out projects.

Key Positions Available

We are recruiting for the following roles:

• Production/Workshop Manager: Candidates should have 10 to 15 years of experience in joinery, metal, steel, or painting industries. This position requires overseeing daily workshop operations, coordinating with various teams, handling supplier relations, and supervising factory and site staff.
• Draftsman and Estimator: Applicants must possess at least 5 years of experience in interior fit-out or joinery-related projects, skilled in preparing working, shop, architectural, and structural drawings. They should also be proficient in BOQ preparation and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

Production/Workshop Manager duties include:

• Managing smooth production workflow in the workshop
• Using woodworking machinery and understanding materials and finishes
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and production planning tools
• Coordinating between project managers, design teams, and procurement
• Negotiating with suppliers for materials and finishes
• Supervising factory workers, subcontractors, and site installation teams
• Visiting project sites to take measurements and prepare detailed BOQs for wood and interior fit-out works
• Ensuring familiarity with shop drawings and finishing techniques

Draftsman and Estimator responsibilities include:

• Developing working drawings and 3D concept views for fit-out work
• Preparing detailed shop drawings and architectural or structural plans
• Following specifications and performing calculations for technical drawings
• Preparing BOQs and creating accurate cost estimates

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record in relevant industries for each role
• Strong technical knowledge in joinery, woodworking machinery, and fit-out materials
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and related production or drafting software
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in engineering or related fields (required for Draftsman and Estimator)
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with teams and suppliers
