A well-established construction company in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee their building operations and maintenance. This role offers a competitive salary range of 800 to 1200 BD, which is negotiable based on experience. The position follows an 8-hour workday across 26 working days each month.
Key Responsibilities
The Facility Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of all facility-related functions. Key duties include overseeing regular preventative and emergency maintenance for critical building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components to minimize downtime.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards is essential, including adherence to occupational safety requirements and local building codes to maintain a safe environment for all occupants.
Effective vendor management is another vital aspect, requiring negotiation and coordination with external service providers like janitorial teams, security personnel, and landscaping contractors to guarantee service quality and cost-efficiency.
The role also involves managing budgets related to facilities, forecasting costs, monitoring utility consumption, and controlling expenditures for repairs and supplies to optimize financial resources.
Space planning responsibilities include coordinating office moves, workspace redesigns, and infrastructure upgrades that align with the company’s growth objectives. Additionally, the Facility Manager will be responsible for implementing security measures, access controls, disaster preparedness protocols, and emergency response plans.

Requirements and Skills
