Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Joinery Estimator to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on leading the pre-contract estimation process for interior fit-out and joinery projects. Ideal candidates will bring a strong commercial understanding along with practical experience in carpentry and joinery cost estimation within the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for preparing precise quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates. Reviewing architectural drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation is essential to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. The role involves coordinating closely with suppliers and providing robust support during tender submissions. Evaluating potential project risks and suggesting effective cost-saving measures will be vital to optimize project budgets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience in joinery or carpentry estimation, preferably within the GCC market.
• In-depth knowledge of joinery materials and construction techniques.
• Strong analytical abilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
