Job Overview
We are currently seeking a committed Ground Operations Coordinator to join our Food Transportation team in Bahrain. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective communication within our fleet of drivers and riders engaged in food delivery services.
Key Responsibilities
The Ground Operations Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the performance of drivers and riders. Key duties include:
- Ensuring all drivers adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitoring and managing key financial metrics like rider payments and outstanding dues.
- Assisting with scheduling and managing rider vacations effectively.
- Collaborating with the Fleet Performance Coordinator to improve fill rates and overall fleet efficiency.
- Tracking daily operational performance metrics such as SLAs, Revenue per Delivery Unit (RDU), Churn Rate, and Fill Rate.
- Facilitating clear communication across teams to promote seamless operations.
- Conducting root cause analysis of operational challenges and recommending viable solutions.
- Overseeing driver training programs and ensuring documentation is accurately maintained.
- Managing cash-on-delivery (COD) reports to minimize financial discrepancies.
- Preparing detailed performance reports, presentations, and other materials to support management decisions.
- Implementing client updates and instructions ensuring full compliance with their requirements.
- Regularly verifying team performance and the accuracy of service delivery.
Required Skills and Languages
This position demands strong communication skills in multiple languages including English, Bangla, Hindi/Urdu, and Arabic. The ideal candidate should be proficient in these languages to effectively liaise with diverse team members and clients.
