Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated live-in female bakery and kitchen assistant to join a family home in Bahrain. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for baking and cooking, particularly those experienced in preparing cakes, pastries, desserts, and other bakery items. The successful applicant will help manage baking production while supporting everyday cooking for the household.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts following given recipes and measurements precisely.
• Assist with daily meal preparation and cooking for the family.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and bakery area.
• Work independently with reliability and trustworthiness, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly.
• Manage baking production in a home-based environment aligned with the family’s preferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in bakery work, hotel kitchen, pastry shop, or catering services is highly preferred.
• Certification or diploma in pastry and bakery arts, hotel kitchen training, or equivalent practical experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and measure ingredients.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and interact effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with a clean and hygienic working style.
• Familiarity with working in a family or home-based business environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Female applicants aged between 24 and 35 years.
• Nationality preference is for candidates from Sri Lanka or India.
• Individuals who are proactive, trustworthy, and able to operate independently without constant supervision.
