Job Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team, specializing in sweets and dessert preparation. This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their culinary skills in a professional setting. Commis applicants are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of various dessert dishes.
• Support the head chef in daily kitchen operations related to sweets and pastries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to ensure food safety standards.
• Follow recipes accurately and consistently to deliver high-quality desserts.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pastry or dessert preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision.
• Good attention to detail and a passion for culinary arts, especially in sweets.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Compensation and Conditions

The offered salary ranges from 250 to 300 BD. Please note this does not include living or transport allowances, and candidates should consider this when applying.
