Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor with a strong background in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess solid expertise in operational management and manpower coordination across multiple hotel sites, ensuring exceptional service quality and efficient day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Supervisor will oversee various hotel departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Stewarding. Responsibilities involve managing staff performance, enforcing grooming and attendance standards, maintaining duty rosters, and addressing guest complaints to uphold high service standards. The role also requires compiling monthly attendance reports from all locations and ensuring timely recruitment and placement of staff to meet operational demands.
In addition, this position involves generating manpower leads by engaging with new clients, collaborating closely with HR to recruit and develop personnel for roles such as cleaners, waiters, stewards, commis chefs, and helpers. The supervisor will liaise with different hotel and industry departments to supply qualified manpower, verify staff attendance, and coordinate invoicing with the finance team. Ensuring smooth operations, effective staff scheduling, and enhancing customer satisfaction are critical aspects of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in operations management or sales within manpower contracting, preferably in the hotel industry
- Strong leadership and effective people management abilities
- Proven capability in supervising multi-department teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and service improvement
- Valid driving license (mandatory)
