Job Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, provide essential support to business operations, and help manage both on-premise and cloud environments. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Bahrain with availability to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal functionality
• Monitor system performance and maintain high availability of network resources
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enforce user access controls
• Carry out regular system backups and handle disaster recovery processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly
• Apply security patches and keep systems up to date with the latest updates
• Document system configurations and standard operating procedures accurately
• Support virtualization environments, including VMware or Hyper-V platforms
• Provide assistance with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure, when applicable

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls
• Experience working with virtualization technologies
• Basic proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Current resident of Bahrain
• Available to start within 30 days
• Possession of a transferable visa
