Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Office Administrator to join an engineering office based in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting operations in technical or engineering environments, managing administrative tasks, and coordinating maintenance and HR processes. This role requires a hands-on approach with strong organizational abilities and technical knowledge to ensure smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational activities within the engineering office.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of assignments.
  • Coordinate maintenance processes and provide technical support where necessary.
  • Handle accounting and human resources tasks, including familiarity with local labor regulations such as LMRA, GOSI, and SIJILAT.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Conduct research to support office operations and technical projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in office administration or operations within an engineering or technical setting.
  • Technical background with knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting and HR processes relevant to Bahrain’s labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong research skills to assist with operational improvements and problem-solving.
  • Experience in managing teams, specifically delegating tasks to technical staff.
  • Must currently reside in Bahrain with a transferable work visa; visit visas are not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a Bahrain driver’s license with practical driving experience.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Understanding of marketing research and social media platforms to support business growth.
