Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant and Administration Officer to support the financial and administrative operations of Martinizing Laundry in Bahrain. This role is crucial in managing accounting tasks, payroll processing, and general administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day business functions.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting transactions, maintaining financial records, and managing administrative tasks related to the business. Daily duties include coding and entering transactions for customers, suppliers, cash, bank, payroll, and general ledger accounts. The role also involves the preparation and submission of government forms, correspondence, and generating invoices on a monthly basis.
Other tasks include maintaining cash ledgers, following up on collections, preparing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) with required quotations, verifying supplier statements before payments, and recording utility and rent bills timely. The position further requires managing the inventory process by tracking goods received and issued, and performing monthly stock verification.
The Assistant Accountant and Administration Officer will also assist in drafting job offers, job descriptions, and employment contracts under managerial supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, transaction coding, and ledger management.

Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary ranging between 350 to 400 Bahraini Dinars (BD) per month, reflecting relevant experience and qualifications.
